Messaging consent
Last updated August 22, 2026
By checking the messaging box on a GoodLocal offer, a customer agrees to receive transactional and promotional text messages from the named local business at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to end messages and HELP for help. GoodLocal records the consent language, source, time, merchant, and number. A STOP request is enforced for that merchant across GoodLocal lifecycle automation.
Merchants must use dedicated approved senders, honor quiet hours, and may send only messages reasonably connected to the customer's recorded consent.
